She began her career at Paychex and spent 10 years in the PEO industry in various capacities including Vice President of Human Resources. Carrie is from Fairport, NY and studied at the University of Tampa, and Women's Leadership at Cornell University. She began her career at Paychex and spent 10 years in the PEO industry in various capacities including Vice President of Human Resources. During one of the worst recessions our country has witnessed, in 2008, Carrie decided to take a leap of faith and started her own Consulting Firm, naming it George HR after her father who, with his partner of 40 years, raised Carrie and her two siblings during a time when their relationship was illegal in nearly every state. Her parents taught her the values of treating everyone with dignity and kindness, which deeply influences her passion for Human Resources. In 2022, Carrie battled with Stage II Metastic Mucinous Carcinoma and DCIS Breast Cancer and beat it. She managed to continue servicing her clients in between her surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments. For fun, when she has time, Carrie enjoys hanggliding and acrylic and oil painting.

Shea has taught undergraduate courses in political science at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School, Cortland State University and Binghamton University. She is published in peer reviewed journals such as the British Journal of Political Science and the American Review of Politics.
Andi Shea brings a wealth of experience from working in the service industry in many capacities while raising her lovely daughter, Allison, who now attends North Carolina State University. She has worked for human service agencies, People, Inc. (Buffalo NY) and Just People, Inc. (Roswell, GA) in an administrative support capacity. She has lived and worked in Los Angeles, Boston, Lexington (KY), and throughout Upstate New York. Andi Shea now resides in Acworth, GA with her darling two cats where she is active in the LGBTQIA+ community and enjoys a karaoke outing now and then.

Her background spans both corporate and contract roles, leading full-cycle recruitment, optimizing onboarding processes, and designing employee engagement programs that strengthen retention. Jennifer has managed multi-regional recruiting teams, developed strategic partnerships with educational institutions, and implemented data-driven hiring processes that reduce costs and accelerate time-to-fill. Her leadership style emphasizes collaboration, clear communication, and measurable results.
In addition to her recruitment expertise, Jennifer has a strong foundation in HR operations, policy development, and compliance. She has overseen performance management programs, training initiatives, benefits benchmarking, and HRIS integrations, ensuring alignment between business objectives and workforce capabilities.
